The department conducts research work in accordance with the sections of the general departmental theme: "Research of technological processes, reliability of aggregates, units and parts of agricultural machines and complexes during their operation, as well as organization of technical service" on the topics:

"Development and calculation of new working bodies of agricultural machines".

"Research and development of resource-saving technologies for the restoration and strengthening of machine parts";

"Theoretical study of the strength of agricultural machine parts using the finite element method",  "Using the latest pedagogical technologies in the educational process";

"Study of the strained-distorted condition of anisotropic cylinders and disks using numerical methods";

"Research and development of separating working bodies of potato harvesters";

"Research of working bodies of tillage machines and tools for energy-saving tillage technologies";

"Research of methodical approaches in the direction of increasing the scientific level of teaching general technical disciplines";

"Innovative methods of application of electromagnetic biotechnologies and electronic systems".
